On the day:

Met at the front gates of the Museum courtyard with a crate of fresh milk and waited to be let in.

We visited the various “rock” exhibits of the museum starting at the top and working our way down:

Spent a while riddling over the large rock collage on the wall in the corner of the geology exhibit but was very worthwhile when we collectively got it worked out eventually.

Reflection:

Is important if you are going to collect rocks to keep a record of where you found them - preferably by physically numbering the rock - otherwise they are contextless and thus useless / meaningless to anyone else.
